FINALLY!!! The BOOTS & SADDLE!!!
Or, just when I thot I'd seen everything, I found out I hadn't...
Have you ever thought about something waaaay back there in your past, but your memories of "whatever it is" are so hazy, that you end up thinking, "it must be a figment of my imagination"...well, that was kinda how I regarded the old Boots n' Saddle Cafe, which I remembered my parents taking me to when I was a lil' tyke. It either got torn down, or burned down, long ago (mid-60's???). Previously, I've posted pictures of the Boots n' Saddle's interior, but I couldn't find an OUTSIDE shot. 'Til now...

Here it is, the Boots n' Saddle Cafe...you know that vacant flat space that's in-between O'Shea's Pub and that Yellow Motel/Campground on the west side of CDA Lake Drive (right across from Eduardo's restaurant)? Well, THAT is where THIS building WAS. I was really surprised to find this photo, and it proves that it is NOT "all in my head". Not at all. For, it actually existed, and this is PROOF.

Why are you cutting down on your posts? Are we saving brain cells?
Hiya Cathy...why am I cutting down on my posts? Well, as you know, I've posted every day, sometimes 2 and 3 times in a day, and, well, "life" just kinda gets in the way. I'm gonna be making more adjustments on down the line, but I don't know exactly what those are yet. Sorry I can't say more right now.
Yea for you! I hope everything turns out well. But I want you to know that I've been banned from your site ever since yesterday when I clicked on the link to read about Queen Wilhemena of the Netherlands. That led to more links and a few hours later I knew the ENTIRE history of the Dutch monarchy.
I just snuck over here for a few minutes on pain of death. Don't tell. SHHHH
Gosh, Cathy...I can't think of many things more exciting than the Dutch monarchy......(zzzzz)...excuse me, my head hit the desk there...I'm awake now...
